Pragya completed her Undergraduate with a major in Microbiology and Molecular Biology from Southeastern Louisiana University. Upon graduation, with a growing interest in basic science research, Pragya joined the Jones Lab as a Research Technician in 2019. Her major research focuses on using viral genome sequencing to characterize changes in the HIV proviral landscape.

Fun fact: Outside of the lab, she likes to read, learn new art skills and experiment with cooking.
